Luna Red is a *Spanish and Latin American-inspired tapas restaurant* in downtown San Luis Obispo, set beside the historic Mission de Tolosa on Chorro Street. It's the youngest of three sister restaurants from Central Coast restaurateurs Robin and Shani Covey, alongside Novo in downtown SLO and Robin's Restaurant in Cambria.

The restaurant opened in *2010* and moved to its current home next to Mission Plaza in April 2012, inside a Spanish-style building filled with eclectic décor. Today Robin owns Novo, Shani owns Robin's, and the two *co-own Luna Red*.
