About
Prenatal Fit is a *pregnancy-and-postpartum-only* fitness studio in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, at 1937 W. Diversey Parkway. Every class on the schedule — yoga, pilates, barre, strength, and dance formats — is built for one audience: women who are expecting or who've recently had a baby. It's *rated 5.0 on Google* across 194 reviews.
Owner and lead instructor Adina started the concept while pregnant herself, teaching a small weekly program at a high-end Chicago health club before opening her own independent studio. She's now run Prenatal Fit for *more than a decade*, building it around the community she wished she'd had during her own first pregnancy.
What to expect
Prenatal classes include *Fertility Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga Basics, Prenatal Pilates,* and *Prenatal/Postnatal Ballet Barre*, alongside Zumba, Nia, and Body Strength formats. Every class caps at *10 people* and is also offered *virtually* for members without childcare or on days better spent indoors.
Once the baby arrives, members move into Mommy & Me yoga, baby bootcamp, and baby-carrier classes, plus workshops on baby care, labor and delivery, nutrition, infant massage, and infant CPR certification. The studio also offers on-site *prenatal massage* and babysitting during class times.
Highlights
Two running photo boards — one of members near their due dates, one of *"after" photos* with their babies — turn the studio into a visible record of its own community, and new clients often spot a familiar face before they've formally met.
Postpartum members can join two separate *five-week programs*: a small-group training track focused on rebuilding strength safely, and a support group centered on the non-physical side of new motherhood, from changed relationships to returning to work.
Nearly every class also runs *virtually*, a format built originally for members without childcare and now used by parents managing rough air-quality days with a newborn at home.
Pricing
A first class is *free* to try, and new members get a discounted first month of *unlimited classes for $125*. The standard ongoing option is a *one-year membership at $100 a month*, with billing that pauses automatically for two months around childbirth and resumes when a member is ready to return.
Good to know
Classes for babies generally run through *18 months to two years*, with occasional stroller and outdoor sessions plus toddler yoga for older kids — but no one is required to bring a child, and many members keep attending workouts solo after their kids age out.
Partners are welcome at select classes and events: dads can join childbirth, breastfeeding, and infant-CPR classes, postpartum parent-and-me sessions, and occasions like *Father's Day*. Membership itself isn't limited to mothers — any woman can join, pregnant or not.
Prenatal Fit is open *Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:30 PM* and *Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM*. Classes and massage appointments book directly through the studio's online scheduling link, and new members typically start with the *free trial class* before picking a membership tier.
